Balloon ride in Tanzania, Serengeti
Join our very low level ride with Captain Moses:
"We are on an adventure here, always a new experience.
Looks like a little Gazelle right in front of us,have you seen a few Wildebeest and Zebra?
....doing river runs another change of plans, see a lot of Hippos as well.
Let us keep an eye on this Lions around we saw that morning. I assume they are right in front of us - if not it is not my fault.
You can see with ballooning it is pretty simple if you do not accomplish plan A you move right on to plan B.
We have Lions right by the water right there, we come down low over that tree.
One walking away on the path and one sitting down, both males.
Hippos in the water, they are kind of hiding from us.
Beautiful colors today.Nice peaceful way to travel, isn’t it.
A couple of Hippos right below us.
Lots of Wildebeest after the distance. We are going to get a bit of the migration.
Big Termite hills some of these it look like they have been taken over by the Mongoose. This morning I think we are going to have one of this exciting action landings.
We travel as far as we can up onto the other side direct before that hills.
When we come in it will be probably one of this drag landings.
I try to avoid the termite mounts.
See the landing of the other balloon: So not to bad a little bit active, not one of those slow boring landings.
A few Wildebeest in the balloon shadow as well.
Wildebeest have a short memory bank: So you see that they look at us, run a little bit, forget about us, look around, then run again.
Up were the vehicles are folks I think that is where we come in. The wind slows down a little bit.
When we do come in I ask you to take landing position:
Have a seat, hold on to the handles, rest you back nicely, even lean you head forward a bit.
There will be a few bounces but it will be fairly smooth.
Yes bungee jumping now, every one sit down right now please,
here we are.
